Friends of Wilderness 2026 Season Kick-off

Our 2026 season Kick-Off will be next week, Wednesday, May 27. It will include our annual business meeting followed by food, drinks and social time.

Meeting:

• Date: Wednesday May 27, 2026
• Time: 5 – 7 pm
• Location: Library Hall – Bud Werner Library

Agenda:

• Business Session (1 hour):
• Review of Last Year’s Activities & Financial Summary
• Committee Updates: Brief reports from each committee on their plans and goals for the season.
• Looking Ahead: Share updates, plans, and goals for the upcoming season.
• Food and drinks will be provided by FOW. (You are welcome to bring your own side dish or dessert to share as well)

June 2, 2-4 pm at Yampa Valley Community Foundation office (upstairs, 348 Oak St.)

June 25, 2:30-4 pm at Yampa Valley Community Foundation office

FOW All Hands Days/Training Days/Campout at Seedhouse Group Campground June 19-21 (Details at the meeting!)

This is an opportunity to reflect on last year’s accomplishments, get a sneak peek at what’s in store this season, and connect with fellow FOW volunteers. We look forward to seeing you there!
